Easy orange cake



175 g raising flour

120 g caster sugar

175 g butter

5 tablespoons fresh orange juice

2 eggs

1 orange zest


Grease a loaf tin and preheat oven to 180 degrees F .

  • Put flour, sugar, butter, juice, eggs and orange zest into a large mixing bowl. Whisk with an electric mixer until all ingredients are incorporated. Put into greased loaf tin and bake for 40-45 mins, until risen and golden.
  • You can decorate the cake with melted dark chocolate and orange zest
